What is B4Mate?
B4Mate is a dating app designed for meaningful connections based on shared values, mutual respect, and genuine interactions. We help you find someone who aligns with your personality, interests, and relationship goals.
What is the age requirement?
You must be at least 18 years old to create a B4Mate account. We verify age during registration and may request ID verification if needed. Accounts found to be underage will be permanently banned.
What is the Discovery Feed?
The Discovery Feed is your main browsing interface where you see potential matches. Profiles are shown based on your preferences, compatibility score, and activity level. Swipe right to like, left to pass, or up to Super Like.
How do I create an account?
To create an account, download the B4Mate app from the App Store or Google Play Store. You can sign up using your phone number, email, or social media accounts like Facebook or LinkedIn. Complete your profile with photos and information about yourself to get started.
Can I change my profile information?
Yes! You can edit your profile anytime by going to Settings > Edit Profile. You can update your photos, bio, interests, work details, and other information.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, go to Settings > Account Settings > Delete Account. Note that deleting your account will permanently remove all your data and matches. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately before deleting your account.
Can I use B4Mate on multiple devices?
Yes, you can log into your B4Mate account on multiple devices using the same credentials. Your profile and matches will sync across all devices.
How do I verify my profile?
Profile verification helps build trust. Go to Settings > Verify Profile and submit a photo following our guidelines. Our team will review it within 24-48 hours. Verified profiles get a blue checkmark badge and receive 50% more matches.
What photos should I upload?
Best practices:
1) Clear face photo as main picture.
2) Full body photo.
3) Photos showing your interests/hobbies.
4) Recent photos (within 1 year). 5) No group photos.
6) Good lighting.
7) Genuine smile.
Avoid: Sunglasses, filters, selfies only.
How do I add Icebreakers to my profile?
Icebreakers help start conversations. Go to Edit Profile > Icebreakers section > Choose from pre-written questions or write custom ones. Add 3-5 fun questions like \”Two truths and a lie about me\” or \”My perfect weekend involves…\
Is B4Mate free to use?
B4Mate offers both free and premium features. Basic features like creating a profile, browsing matches, and sending likes are free. Premium features include unlimited swipes, super likes, boosts, and advanced filters.
How do subscriptions work?
Premium subscriptions can be purchased monthly, quarterly, or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription in your device’s app store settings.
What are the premium subscription benefits?
Premium benefits include: Unlimited likes, 5 Super Likes daily, See who liked you, Advanced filters (education, profession, income), Boost once per month, Unlimited rewinds, No ads, Read receipts, and Priority customer support.
How do I cancel my subscription?
For iOS: Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Subscriptions > B4Mate > Cancel. For Android: Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > B4Mate > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Why am I not getting matches?
Common reasons: Incomplete profile, poor quality photos, restrictive filters, inactive usage, or limited swipes on free plan. Tips: Add 4-6 clear photos, complete all profile sections, be active daily, and consider using Boost feature.
How does matching work?
B4Mate uses an advanced matching algorithm that considers your age, interests, location, preferences, and personality traits. You can swipe right to like someone or left to pass. If both users like each other, it’s a match and you can start chatting!
How do I get more matches?
To increase your matches:
1) Upload high-quality photos.
2) Complete your profile with detailed information.
3) Be active on the app daily.
4) Use boost feature to increase visibility.
5) Expand your distance and age preferences.
Why can't I see some profiles?
You might not see certain profiles if:
1) They’ve blocked you.
2) You’ve already swiped on them.
3) They don’t meet your filter criteria.
4) They’re outside your distance range.
5) Their account is temporarily inactive.
How does the compatibility score work?
Our compatibility algorithm analyzes 50+ factors including interests, values, lifestyle choices, communication style, and relationship goals. Scores range from 0-100%. Profiles with 70%+ compatibility appear higher in your feed.
What if my match stops responding?
If a match becomes inactive:
1) Give them time.(2-3 days).
2) Send a friendly follow-up message.
3) If no response after a week, unmatch and move on. Remember, people have busy lives and not everyone will be a perfect fit.

Can I filter matches by specific criteria?
Yes! Basic filters (age, distance) are free. Premium filters include: Education level, Profession, Income range, Height, Religion, Smoking/Drinking habits, Kids preference, and more. Set your filters in Settings > Discovery Preferences.
What if someone is harassing me?
Your safety is our priority. You can block or report any user by going to their profile and selecting \”Report\” or \”Block\”. Our safety team will review all reports and take appropriate action.
How do I report fake profiles?
To report a fake profile: Tap on the user’s profile > Click the three dots menu > Select \”Report\” > Choose \”Fake Profile\” and provide details. We take all reports seriously and investigate within 24 hours.
How do I block someone?
To block a user: Go to their profile > Tap three dots menu > Select \”Block\”. Blocked users can’t see your profile, message you, or appear in your feed. You can unblock them anytime from Settings > Blocked Users.
How do I improve my profile?
Profile optimization tips:
1) Use all 6 photo slots.
2) Write a unique bio (150+ words).
3) Complete all sections.
4) Add Icebreakers.
5) Link Instagram (optional).
6) Get verified.
7) Be authentic and positive. Complete profiles get 5x more matches!
What are the community guidelines?
B4Mate promotes respect and safety. Prohibited: Harassment, hate speech, nudity/sexual content, violence, spam, solicitation, impersonation, underage users, or fake profiles. Violations result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. Read full guidelines in app.
What are Super Likes?
Super Likes let someone know you’re really interested before you match. When you send a Super Like, the person will see that you super liked them and can decide to match with you.
What is Boost?
Boost makes your profile one of the top profiles in your area for 30 minutes, increasing your chances of getting matches. You can purchase boosts individually or as part of a premium subscription.
Can I undo a swipe?
Yes! Premium subscribers can use the \”Rewind\” feature to undo their last swipe. Free users can purchase individual rewinds from the store. Go to your match feed and tap the yellow rewind icon.
Can I see who viewed my profile?
Profile views are only visible to Premium subscribers. Go to your profile > Views tab to see who checked you out in the last 7 days. This helps you identify potential matches who might be interested.
How does the messaging system work?
You can only message users you’ve matched with. Messages are encrypted end-to-end for privacy. You can send text, emojis, GIFs, and photos. Premium users get read receipts and can send voice messages.
Can I change my location?
Your location updates automatically based on your device. Premium users can set a custom location to browse profiles in different cities (Travel Mode). This is perfect for planning dates when visiting new places.
What is Spotlight feature?
Spotlight makes your profile visible to 10x more users for 30 minutes. It’s perfect for getting quick matches. You appear at the top of the discovery feed in your area. Available for purchase or included with Premium subscription (1 free Spotlight/week).
How does location work?
B4Mate uses your device’s location to show you potential matches nearby. You can adjust your distance preferences in Settings. Location data is only used to find matches and is never shared with other users.
Is my data safe?
Yes, we take your privacy seriously. All data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your personal information to third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Can I hide my profile temporarily?
Yes! Go to Settings > Privacy > Enable \”Invisible Mode\”. This hides your profile from the discovery feed but you can still chat with existing matches. Your profile reappears when you disable this mode.
Is my phone number visible to others?
No, your phone number is never visible to other users. It’s only used for account verification and security purposes. We never share your contact information with anyone.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
When you delete your account, all your data including profile info, photos, messages, and matches are permanently deleted within 30 days. You can reactivate within 30 days by logging back in. After 30 days, deletion is irreversible.
